On Friday, June 23rd, happy baby was featured on Good Morning America, highlighting the benefits of working out as a family (i.e. mom + dad + baby), as DWTS pros, Maks + Peta, have been doing with their baby, Shai. We are so passionate about family fitness and believe this is such a wonderful way to instill healthy habits in our children, while also connecting with + spending quality time together. Thank you so much, ABC + GMA, for including us in this segment.

"This is just what the South Bay needed! I have attended a few yoga tots classes with my 1 year old and it was a lot of fun! And somehow the instructor actually manages to get some real moves in there for mama while singing and otherwise engaging the kids! The studio is very cute, warm, and inviting. A great location on Main Street with ample free parking around. This is going to be our new spot for family fun!"

"A supportive and welcoming place to bring your babes/ kiddos for music, dancing, language/ cultural immersion, singing, yoga, support groups, and more.  I'm amazed by the number of classes and workshops they offer.  I've only been to two classes, but they were both great.  The feel is relaxed, open, and organic.  And the location is perfect for a stroll or meeting up for coffee or yummy food after.  If I lived closer, I would be there everyday.  It seems like a truly happy place."

"My 4 year old and I love Baila Baila! It's a fun, upbeat class with wonderful music! Both of us learned some great new spanish songs while having a blast. The studio has an open and inviting atmosphere decorated with super cute colors. We will be back again :)"

"Super fun yoga play date with Mommy & Me friends! The babes loved it and mamas had a blast too. Great new addition to the South Bay..."

"Love this place! Friendly staff, clean facilities, great teachers and lots of different options for every age. My two year old enjoys the Buddha Tots class with Khefri, who manages to keep a great balance between structure and freedom. Baila Baila is also super fun. I haven't tried the adults-only classes yet, but have heard great things from friends. First class is free so be sure to check it out!"

"I went to family yoga on Saturday with my 3 and 5 years old. I loved it. The place is so cute, the teacher does an incredible job managing these wee personalities in the studio. She creates a fun environment with a lot of freedom for the kids, while providing a fun and engaging format that holds their attention (even to my crazy 3 year-old ) and encourages participation without being overbearing.  My kids loved the songs and the posing. Plus parents can get some nice stretching and bonding with the kids. Can't wait to go back!!"

"happy baby officially opened the first month of my pregnancy.  As a result, I never wanted for support, information, and community throughout those transformative nine months and then every day since delivering my first child in December of last year.  It was my one-stop shop for answers to my billions of questions--answers I got from other moms I met in the prenatal yoga and dance classes happy baby offered as well as from workshops where experts led classes on topics ranging from childbirth to carseats to infant CPR.  As a first-time mom, I was susceptible to doubting my decisions (Which carseat should I register for?!; Do I need a doula?  Which one?!; What the f*** are placenta pills?; and on and on and on).  So I can't overstate the value of a place that helps you have confidence in those millions of decisions you're making.  happy baby was that place for me during my pregnancy.  As a bonus, the prenatal classes got my body strong and my mind calm and prepared for labor (or as prepared as one can be without having done it before).  And then I had my baby and my world changed.  I had a beautiful, healthy, gas-y, diaper rash-y, sweet, waking up throughout the night baby boy.  My body had changed yet again (holy breasts, batman!) and my hormones were powerful.  When the grandparents left and my husband went back to work, it was just me and my new little buddy staring at each other wondering what we were supposed to do all day.  It was easy to get swept up in the feedings and the laundry and the feedings and the laundry and the feedings . . . .  Those days were shockingly difficult and lonely.  But thanks to happy baby, little by little I started to gain the confidence to pack the diaper bag and fasten him into his carseat and just get us out of the house.  I joined the Mommy and Me group and went to yoga classes with my little guy by my side.  I could nurse there!  I could change his diaper there!  He could cry and no one would care!  Other moms would tell me how to relieve his gas!  Assure me that there would be a night sometime in the future when he would sleep eight hours straight!  And boom -- my confidence as a mom started to grow and my postpartum body started to strengthen.  I probably could have made it through my three months of maternity leave on my own, but it wouldn't have been nearly as fun.

happy baby has been my village.  I can't wait to watch my son grow up in this village, taking music classes and yoga classes and making friends.  He's a happy baby and I'm a Lucky Mommy."
